The Project

To integrate greenhouse gas mitigation as part of the roll out of the CIAT led AgriLAC Resiliente adaptation, allowing national institutions to consider the options available for mitigation along with their consequences.

National institutions in each country will be empowered to:

• understand the sources and drivers of greenhouse gas emissions,

• understand the criteria for designing and improving national inventories and transparent MRV systems,

• understanding the methods for measuring and data treatment of greenhouse gas emissions,

• understand the international reporting processes, and

• develop national mitigation policy advice to government.
